AMCIS 2009: Call for Papers

AMCIS 2009If you would like to submit a research paper to the 15th Americas Conference on Information systems (AMCIS 2009), please click on Minitrack Details to determine which Minitrack is most suitable for your paper. Manuscript Central is now officially open, you can submit your completed paper for review by clicking here or the Paper Submission button. The link to Manuscript Central will also appear in broadcast emails.

Papers will be peer-reviewed using a double-blind system and will be considered for Best Paper Awards. In 2009, a Best Paper Award for a practitioner-oriented paper will be selected with input from CIOs.

 
Important Deadlines
January 2, 2009: Manuscript Central will start accepting paper submissions
February 20, 2009 (11:59 PM Pacific time zone): Deadline for paper submissions
April 2, 2009: Authors will be notified of acceptances on or about this date
April 20, 2009 (11:59 PM Pacific time zone): For accepted papers, camera ready copy due

AMCIS 2009AMCIS 2009 will be in San Francisco, the center of the high-tech Bay Area. It will bring together the best of academia and industry to focus on the future of Information Systems. Come join us in the City by the Bay and be part of this exciting conference.

Famous for its scenic beauty, cultural attractions, diverse communities, and world-class cuisine, San Francisco's landmarks include the Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars, Fisherman's Wharf, Alcatraz, Chinatown, Union Square, and North Beach. This very walkable city provides easy access to its many attractions with intriguing neighborhoods to explore at every turn. Views of the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay are often laced with fog, creating a romantic mood in this most European of American cities.
